Since 2009, Harbor House has been grateful to offer its clients intense Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in groups and individuals through a partnership with the University of Mississippi Medical Center doctorial psychologist program. Every single client can take advantage of these specialized services during their stay at Harbor House. In addition, Harbor House has staff trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which can be offered as needed to address underlying traumatic memories that fuel the addiction cycle.
